What’s that being built next to Breton Village in Grand Rapids? It’s a fast-growing chain

GRAND RAPIDS, MI — A major West Michigan car wash brand is bringing a new location to the corner of Breton Road and Burton Street in Grand Rapids.

Workers with Holland-based EV Construction are prepping the site at 1970 Breton Road SE in Grand Rapids to begin building a new Tommy’s Express car wash.

A spokesperson for Tommy’s Express said the new location, positioned between Breton Village and the Mobil gas station, will be a full-sized car wash and is expected to open in summer 2026.
