Holland Hospital Unveils Redeveloped Birth Ward

Holland Hospital announced the three-phase renovation project of the Boven Birth Center is complete.

The newly renovated 33,713-square-foot wing will accommodate space for 2,200 births per year. The completion of the new birthing facility allows Holland Hospital to grow with the surrounding communities and continue to provide quality care.

“The completion of the Boven Birth Center expansion marks the end of a three-year journey, but more importantly, the beginning of a vision coming to life as a best-in-class program that will serve families in our community for decades to come,” said Kathy Nania, RN, MS, administrative director of inpatient nursing and Boven Birth Center. “Our entire staff deserves special recognition for their flexibility and creativity in ensuring continued high standards of care were met throughout each phase.”
