Mercy Hospital

General construction includes a 380,000-square-foot, 10-story addition, and renovation of the 360,000-square-foot existing hospital. Ground was broken for the project during September 2016. In June 2017, EV general trades team joined Christman Construction to complete approximately $18 million in carpentry work. Once complete, the medical center will have 267 beds. All inpatient rooms will be single-occupancy and equipped with a patient wardrobe, flat-screen TV, wireless internet access, floor-to-ceiling window, bathroom and a 6-foot-long convertible couch for family.
