George Martinez Promoted to Painting Division Manager
George has been an integral part of EV Construction for the past seven years, and we’re excited to share his promotion to Painting Division Manager! From day one, George has been a coach, mentor, and steady leader in the painting division (it’s even rumored that some of the team affectionately call him “dad”). He has successfully led painting efforts on some of our largest and most complex projects. Known for his passion for quality, his upbeat attitude, and his contagious smile, George continues to set the standard for excellence in his field.
Ethan Gordon Promoted to Drywall Division Manager
We are also pleased to announce the promotion of Ethan Gordon to Drywall Division Manager. Ethan’s journey with EV began long before he officially joined the team in 2019. As a supplemental worker, he quickly built a reputation for servant leadership, humility, and unwavering dedication—qualities that remain at the core of his leadership today. Ethan has overseen drywall hanging and finishing on many of our largest projects, consistently raising the bar for quality and performance within the division.
Xavier Martinez Promoted to Painting Lead
Congratulations to Xavier Martinez on his promotion to Painting Lead! Since joining EV in 2018, Xavier has embraced every opportunity to grow in his craft. Currently enrolled in the Field Leadership course at WMCI, he continues to demonstrate excellence in both the artistic and technical aspects of painting. His calm, focused approach makes him a trusted leader and role model within the division.
Stefanie Herder Promoted to Marketing Specialist
Since joining EV in 2023, Stefanie Herder has quickly made her mark. She led the redesign and launch of EV’s new website, manages our photography and videography (including the Built Around People video), and has significantly expanded our social media presence. Beyond her impressive work, Stefanie is known for her positive energy and willingness to jump in wherever she’s needed.
CJ Thompson Promoted to Construction Technologist
Congratulations to CJ Thompson on his promotion to Construction Technologist! Since joining EV two years ago, CJ has combined his construction knowledge with a passion for technology—supporting projects like Pine Rest’s Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health, where he introduced innovative solutions such as 3D printing custom parts and operating our layout robot. More recently, he’s been driving EV’s exploration of AI and new systems that strengthen how we work. In this new role, CJ will help lead the integration of technology across our projects and teams.
