These experts are specifically selected to represent a cross-section of our industry. Then, they each visit the project sites and determine the winner. This year, EV Construction was nominated in the following categories:
- New Construction $30-$50 Million: Tommy’s Car Wash Systems Corporate Headquarters
- Renovation/Addition/Tenant Build-Out $2-$3 Million: Ronald McDonald House Charities West Michigan
- General Trades: Holland Home – Breton Terrace
The Excellence in Construction Awards Ceremony was held on Thursday, September 19th at GLC Live at 20 Monroe in Grand Rapids. The EIC Awards are more than just a way to reward wonderful work—they’re a chance to come together for a night of celebration, too. Each year, award winners are announced live during our annual Excellence in Construction Awards program. The project manager and superintendent on the winning projects, along with each category winner, receive recognition during and after the event.
EV Construction won the 2024 Excellence in Construction Award for General Trades at this year’s event! The Holland Home – Breton Terrace project refreshed common areas throughout the to include a new cafe and gathering space, upgraded chapel and theater, new finishes throughout all resident corridors and the private dining space, & a beautiful feature stair that extends between all three floors. We are so proud of the whole team who worked on the Holland Home – Breton Terrace project including Dan Behler, Hannah Thurlow, and Brian Englishman.
Congratulations to all of this year’s nominees and award winners!
