UMRC Chelsea - Kresge Skilled Nursing

The Kresge Skilled Nursing Expansion was the second phase of a major repositioning at Chelsea Retirement Community. The project included a 15,000-SF addition and extensive renovation to the Kresge skilled nursing facility to provide a more dramatic and inviting entrance leading to spacious private resident rooms and open common space for residents and their visitors. Early on, the project also required the removal of a 50,000-SF building originally constructed in the 1960s.
