Wolverine Worldwide

We renovated the Wolverine Worldwide Annex building, which was originally constructed in the 1960s. The project, also referred to as “The Factory”, started with selective demolition and moved into the reconstruction of private offices and open areas, conference rooms, a cafe and satellite pantry, an exterior courtyard, and more. In total, we renovated 42,000-SF added 2,200-SF.

Site Development

“The Factory” required an alteration to the existing building and incorporated an added-on large meeting space that is the focal point as soon as you turn onto the campus.  The sitework team had to navigate a tight space while creating the added footprint of the addition and managing the revised drainage, all while preserving the existing trees that have been there since the building was originally a factory.

Self-Performed Trades

EV used most of our self-performed trades on this project. Framing, drywall, and ACT Ceilings all played a major role in the transformation of the new office space. The painting and trim carpentry of this space required a high level of detail to make the design vision a reality.

Finishing Touches

This project captures the evolution of Wolverine Worldwide —from one of its original shoe factories to a modern, upgraded creative workspace. The renovated space now supports open collaboration, strategic planning, and product launches in a comfortable, inspiring environment that reflects the brand’s continued growth and innovation.
