Pine Rest celebrates construction of new Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health
An exciting expansion is underway in Grand Rapids!
Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services is celebrating the commencement of construction on its forthcoming Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health, opening spring of 2026, which will provide treatments to an additional 18,000+ children and teens each year.
“It’s all about increasing access to behavioral health care for our kids, our community, and for the state,” said Heather Treib, project executive at Pine Rest.
Treatments include expanded inpatient and outpatient services, a new psychiatric urgent care center, and new specialty services for kids diagnosed with autism, spectrum disorders, eating disorders and substance use disorders, inside of a 136,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility.
“We always say there’s no wrong door. Come on in, we’ll figure it out, join you alongside that journey, and figure out what level of care you need,” said Heide Rollings, M.D., medical director at Pine Rest. “We’re happy to showcase our services and help make sure the community knows where to go for them too.”
EV Construction is proud to be the construction partner on this project with Pine Rest.
