Legacy Project – Downtown Holland Snowmelt

Ever wondered how downtown Holland’s snowmelt system came to be?

As part of EV’s 80th anniversary, we asked our interns to interview longtime EV team members and revisit some of the legacy projects that shaped who we are today.

Back in 1988, EV Construction was chosen as the construction manager to redevelop downtown Holland’s streetscape and install Michigan’s very first community snowmelt system. In this video, our Marketing & Experience Intern, Isabella, talks with EV’s President & CEO, Mike Novakoski, about his firsthand experience working on this groundbreaking project.
