Topping Out: Final Beam Set at Holland Hospital Westpark Specialty Center

Holland Hospital Westpark Specialty Center Zeeland Michigan Beam Ceremony

On July 22nd, EV Construction team members, trade partners, and representatives from Holland Hospital gathered in Zeeland to celebrate a major construction milestone: the placement of the final beam at the new Westpark Specialty Center.

Topping out a building is one of the most visible signs that a project is moving from steel and structure toward the spaces that will one day serve patients and families. For everyone who has been on site early mornings and long days to get to this point, it’s a moment worth pausing for.

About the Project

The Westpark Specialty Center is a 62,700-square-foot, two-story facility being built through a partnership between Holland Hospital and University of Michigan Health. Once complete, the building will house multiple specialty clinics and medical office spaces, with flexibility built in for future growth as the partnership continues to expand care in West Michigan.

The new center is located at 8300 Westpark Way in Zeeland, on the same property as Holland Hospital’s existing walk-in facility — putting a broader range of specialty care within easy reach for patients who already know the location.

Building for the Community

This project is one more chapter in EV’s long history of partnering with Holland Hospital, and it reflects the kind of work that matters most to our team — projects that expand access to care and strengthen the communities we build in.

There’s more work ahead before the doors open, but with the structure now topped out, the Westpark Specialty Center is one significant step closer to serving patients across the Zeeland and Holland communities.

Stay tuned for more updates as the project progresses toward completion.
