EV Construction celebrates more than 13 years without significant injury
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the construction industry experienced 79,600 “lost time” injuries in 2019. The average duration of time away from work was 13 days, and more than 33 percent of the total cases amounted to 31 days or more.
In comparison, EV Construction hasn’t seen an injury keep an employee away from work in nearly 14 years.
“Achieving this milestone was not an easy accomplishment,” said President and CEO Mike Novakoski.
“Our team has put thousands of hours into training and safety programs to keep our employees healthy. While we are a construction company dedicated to delivering quality projects to our clients, our foundation is the safety and wellness of our team members.”
