Tony Roussey Named 2024 Notable Nonprofit Board Leader
Crain’s Grand Rapids Business released its 2024 list of Notable Nonprofit Board Leaders, and EV’s own Chief Operating Officer, Tony Roussey, is one of the 22 individuals recognized.
From Crain’s:
“Good board members support nonprofits with their time, talents and treasures. Great board members do all of that and more. These 22 leaders treat board service as the second job that it is, applying their professional skills to boost their chosen organization’s profile, finances and outreach. They create and champion DEI efforts, generate new fundraisers and breathe new life into existing ones, and mentor other board members. Their efforts, described here, strengthen all manner of area nonprofits, from social service agencies to public entertainment venues.”
Tony currently serves as the chair of the West Michigan Construction Institute in Grand Rapids. Tony was nominated by WMCI for this recognition.
From WMCI:
“EV Construction COO Tony Roussey has been an industry leader for decades. As a member of the executive committee, he plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, with a particular focus on employee care and safety.
Under his leadership, WMCI has consistently surpassed enrollment targets, beat budget projections and expanded its program offerings. He helped WMCI become a state-approved career and technical education program in collaboration with Kent ISD.”
