EV Construction Helps Spark Young Minds at Hamilton's DIG IN Event

For the fifth year, EV Construction was proud to participate in Hamilton Public School’s annual DIG IN event. This exciting construction and trades career event offers every 5th grader in the district a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience and explore potential career paths.

A Community Effort

The success of DIG IN is a testament to the strong partnership between Hamilton Community Schools and local businesses. By working together, they provide students with valuable insights into the world of construction and trades.

Ashley Meyer, Hamilton’s Experimental/Work Based Learning Coordinator, expressed her enthusiasm for the event:

“Hamilton Community Schools is committed to providing Work Based Learning experiences for all students that includes career awareness and exploration. Our students love DIG IN! Day to explore construction and trades careers. We are so thankful to our community partners that are so involved and make days like this one possible.”

Inspiring Future Generations

Since its inception in 2019, DIG IN has consistently drawn large crowds of eager young minds. This year, nearly 200 students attended the event, immersing themselves in a variety of activities and learning experiences.

EV Construction is proud to be a part of this initiative and looks forward to continuing to inspire the next generation of builders and tradespeople.
