Tommy’s Express Car Wash has officially opened its first location in Coldwater, Michigan, bringing a modern, efficient, and community-focused car wash experience to the area. Located at 616 E. Chicago Rd., near Meijer, the new facility celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, April 24, 2025. EV Construction has been the construction partner for over 20 Tommy’s Express locations nationwide.
Grand Opening Festivities
The grand opening weekend featured a variety of activities for the community. Crockett’s Smoked BBQ was on-site on offering delicious food to guests. Attendees enjoyed free giveaways in the vacuum area and had the opportunity to enter a raffle contest. Unlimited TommyClub members could participate in a raffle to win a Blackstone grill by stopping at the event tent. The EV Sweets & Treats Ice Cream Truck made the voyage to Coldwater and handed out free ice cream treats to attendees.
Delivered Ahead of Schedule and Under Budget
In addition to the successful grand opening, we’re proud to share that the project was delivered under budget and completed ahead of schedule—a testament to the excellent coordination and teamwork across the board. The project was led by EV’s Project Executive Jordan Gougeon, Project Manager Nicole Howell, and Field Manager Dan Koscielski, who worked closely with Tommy’s Project Manager Bobby Rusho to ensure everything went smoothly from start to finish.
We truly enjoyed working with Franchise Partners Andrew, Dan, and Matt on their very first Tommy’s Express location. Their vision, collaboration, and commitment to quality helped set the tone for a great partnership and successful project outcome.

This project wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and expertise of local trades. Their dedication and craftsmanship brought the vision for this location to life.
State-of-the-Art Facility
The Coldwater location features Tommy’s Express’s signature wash tunnel with floor-to-ceiling windows and a transparent roof, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere. Drivers can enjoy fast, three-minute washes, even during peak hours, along with premium perks such as complimentary on-site vacuums and floor mat washers.
