On Friday, August 28th, board members, staff, and residents at Friendship Village of Kalamazoo attended an open house-style beam signing event to celebrate a project milestone for the community’s newest expansion. Two wooden beams, soon to be hung in the new space, were on display outside the main residence building, where guests could stop by to add their signature and leave a lasting, personal touch on the project.
While signatures were added, the EV Sweets & Treats van stopped by with donuts and coffee, giving the EV project team a chance to connect with residents and staff and answer questions about the project as it takes shape.
It was a simple, joyful morning, and a meaningful milestone on the road to Friendship Village’s latest expansion. Learn more about the project here.
