At EV Construction, we believe our people are the driving force behind our success. We’re proud to recognize four team members whose leadership, dedication, and commitment to excellence have earned them well-deserved promotions across the company.
David Donegan promoted to Firestop Foreman
Since joining EV’s firestop team two years ago, Dave has quickly mastered this highly technical trade while becoming a trusted leader within the team. He has played a key role in mentoring new Firestop Technicians and leading crews on projects including Pine Rest and the current work at Mary Free Bed.
Dave has also been an active participant in EV’s “Rising Stars” leadership development group since mid-last year. Known for his quick wit, calm demeanor, and positive attitude, Dave consistently brings steady leadership and strong teamwork to every project.
Veronica Cline Promoted to Assistant Preconstruction Manager
From her start in EV’s Coldwater office to her support of the company’s growing operations in Florida, Veronica has continually demonstrated the hard work, drive for excellence, and eagerness to learn that define EV’s culture.
In her new role, Veronica will support project planning and preconstruction efforts through trade partner communications, take-offs, labor and material estimating, and competitive bidding. Her attention to detail and dedication to supporting project success have made her a valuable part of the team.
Chase Weatherell Promoted to Field Manager
Chase joined EV as a carpenter and later expanded his experience by assisting with steel fabrication. Most recently, he has served as an Assistant Field Manager on the Zeeland Hospital MOB project while also participating in EV’s “Rising Stars” program.
Known for his focused and thoughtful approach, Chase has consistently demonstrated a willingness to take on new challenges and grow as a leader. In his new role, Chase will support EV’s Florida operations, where the team is excited to welcome him into the market.
Nick Novakoski Promoted to Senior Project Manager
Nick joined EV full-time 11 years ago as an Assistant Project Manager after previously spending summers working in the field while attending Ferris State University. Early in his career, Nick gained valuable experience working on complex senior living projects, helping build strong relationships with clients across the industry.
Over the years, Nick has played an important role in projects for organizations including Samaritas and Resthaven, helping strengthen EV’s extensive senior living portfolio. Today, Nick serves as a key leader on one of EV’s largest active projects and continues to exemplify dedication, diligence, and leadership.
These promotions reflect EV Construction’s continued commitment to investing in people and developing leaders across every area of the company. We’re grateful for the contributions Dave, Veronica, Chase, and Nick make to our team and look forward to seeing them continue to grow in their new roles.
Congratulations to all four team members on this exciting next step in their careers.
